Sap Bw Hana Consultant

BE/ B.Tech /MCA- Computer Science /IT with four (04) years of experience in SAP Development environment OR Engineering Graduate (Any Discipline) /BCA / BSc(Computer Science /IT /Electronics) / MSc(Computer Science/IT/Electronics) with five (05) years of experience in SAP Development environment. Key Responsibilities: • Implementation and Configuration: Lead and support the implementation and configuration of SAP BW and BW4HANA solutions, including data models, data flows, transformations, and reporting solutions. • Data Modeling: Design and implement Data Models, InfoProviders (Cubes, DSOs, Composite Providers), and other data structures within BW and BW4HANA. • ETL and Data Integration: Develop and optimize ETL processes using SAP BW and BW4HANA’s native tools (e.g., Data Services, SAP BEx, HANA Smart Data Integration), integrate with source systems (SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, third-party systems). • BW4HANA Migration: Lead or support migration activities from traditional SAP BW to BW4HANA, ensuring data consistency, performance, and scalability post-migration. • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize system performance and data processing times for BW queries, data loads, and reporting. • Reporting and Analytics: Work closely with business users to design and develop reporting solutions using BW Query Designer. Assist in the creation of ad-hoc reports and dashboards. • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support for SAP BW/BW4HANA, resolving issues related to data loading, reporting, and system performance. • Documentation and Best Practices: Maintain thorough documentation of design, configuration, and development work. Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and internal guidelines. • Collaboration: Collaborate with other SAP teams (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP Analytics, SAP Basis) to integrate BW/BW4HANA with other SAP applications. • ETL Tools: Experience in using SAP tools for ETL processes such as SAP Data Services, SAP SLT, or HANA • Performance Tuning: Ability to analyze and optimize data models, queries, and system performance in SAP BW and BW4HANA. • Project Management: Ability to manage projects, handle multiple priorities, and work within tight timelines. Experience with agile project methodologies is an advantage. • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
