Gloify - Golang Developer - Microservices Architecture (3-4 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, hands-on expertise in Golang, and the ability to build scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy high-performance backend applications using Golang.

- Design and implement scalable microservices and APIs.

- Work with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.

- Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.

- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.

- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.

- Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of applications.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends in Golang and backend development.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Golang.

- Strong understanding of Goroutines, Channels, and Concurrency in Golang.

- Experience in RESTful API and gRPC development.

- Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.

- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

- Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with unit testing and test automation.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Good understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
