Gloify - DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (3-4 yrs)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a proven track record of 3+ years in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of automation, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and container orchestration. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, delivery, and reliability of software systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ensure automated and efficient deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.
• Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to manage and provision infrastructure as code.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve the reliability and scalability of systems.
• Manage cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for hosting and scaling applications.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ensure proper cluster scaling, security, and resilience.
• Set up and maintain monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to track system performance and uptime.
• Implement logging and alerting solutions using tools like ELK Stack or CloudWatch.
• Enforce security best practices in infrastructure, pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Work closely with development and QA teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows.
• Document processes, tools, and systems for future reference and training purposes.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Should have 3+ years of experience in similar role.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong knowledge of containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Solid understanding of Linux-based systems and networking concepts.
• Knowledge of security best practices, including managing secrets and encryption.
