DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (3-6 yrs)

Role : DevOps Engineer

Experience : 3 to 6 years

Location : Bengaluru (5 days work from office)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, testing, and deployment of automotive software applications, ensuring high reliability and fast delivery.

- Collaborate with development teams and manage source code using version control tools like Git, ensuring proper versioning and code management practices are followed.

- Develop automation scripts and tools using languages such as Python, Java, or Groovy to automate various aspects of the software development and deployment processes.

- Develop and maintain internal tooling and frameworks to automate repetitive tasks.

- Suggest improvements to existing processes and technologies, contributing to increased efficiency and faster time to market.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product teams, to improve the software quality and delivery process.

- Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to support agile practices.

- Monitor the health and performance of the CI/CD pipelines, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues.

- Debug and troubleshoot pipeline-related problems, ensuring the system's stability.

- Manage and configure infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Manage cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) to support the CI/CD pipeline.

- Build and manage Docker containers for efficient and consistent deployment.

- Work with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to manage microservices-based applications in production.

- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline and that compliance with automotive industry standards is maintained.

- Continuously improve and optimize CI/CD processes and infrastructure to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability.

Skills Required :

- Proficiency in SDLC and CI/CD practices.

- Hands-on experience with Jenkins/GitLab CI.

- Strong scripting skills in Python, Java, or Groovy.

- Knowledge of Docker and containerization (preferred).

- Familiarity with automotive software and systems (preferred).
