Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing ERP Functional Consultant with expertise in QAD to support our clients in optimizing their ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP functionalities, with a specific focus on QAD. You will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design solutions, implement ERP systems, and provide post-go-live support.
Key Responsibilities: ERP System Implementation: Lead the implementation of ERP systems, with a strong emphasis on QAD, across various manufacturing processes. Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with clients to understand their manufacturing operations and business requirements. Identify gaps and recommend solutions for process improvements. System Configuration: Configure ERP systems, particularly QAD, to meet the specific needs of the client. Customize modules to align with business processes. Data Migration: Assist in the planning, mapping, and execution of data migration from legacy systems to QAD ERP systems. Training and Support: Provide end-user training and develop documentation to ensure efficient use of the ERP system. Offer ongoing post-implementation support to resolve issues and optimize usage. Process Optimization: Analyze and identify opportunities for streamlining and enhancing manufacturing processes using ERP functionalities. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, production, and supply chain, to ensure successful project outcomes. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Address any functional issues within the ERP system, providing timely and effective solutions. Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring ERP projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 8+ years of experience as an ERP Functional Consultant, with a strong focus on manufacturing industry processes. 5+ years of hands-on experience with QAD ERP systems. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes such as production, inventory management, procurement, and supply chain operations. Strong understanding of ERP modules such as Production, Materials Management, Inventory, Procurement, and Finance. Proven ability to implement ERP systems end-to-end, including requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Experience in data migration from legacy systems to ERP solutions. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills: Expertise in QAD ERP Knowledge of other manufacturing ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, or Infor is an advantage. Experience in ERP integration with other systems such as MES, PLM, and CRM. Certification in QAD or relevant ERP systems is a plus.
