Purchase Manager

As textiles purchase manager, you will be responsible for handling the procurement process, sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships to ensure a standard quality, seamless supply chain and optimize costs. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, make strategic decisions and implement best practices.

Attending fairs, creating, and maintaining an important network of supplier. Bring new ideas/product coming from our supplier for developing new type of fabric.

• Role & responsibilities

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies for quality assurance, cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
• Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards.
• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, payment terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Troubleshoot any technical issue related to performance of goods.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals.
• Conducting market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities and pricing fluctuations.
• Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, audits and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Provide technical support to designers and production team regarding yarn

Preferred candidate profile

• In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practice.
• Strong knowledge of yarn types, properties, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to analyze quality parameters and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Good understanding of textile production and supply chain.
• Market intelligence and ability to forecast pricing trends.
• Strong communication, coordination and Team player.

Experience with ERP systems and procurement software technical knowledge and product knowledge
