Job Title Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer (Test Engineering)

Position Summary

• Take ownership and pride in ensuring the quality of product
• Ability to do impact analysis and test the features in an effective and efficient manner
• Striver for automation, and automate tests with strong test architectural principles
• Design test cases and scenarios
• End to End System Tests

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Accountable and responsible for the quality of new features & defect fixes
• Proactively own and drive actions to contain defects and improve quality
• Define end to end test scenarios and use cases based on requirements and design inputs
• Write quality code with our in-house automation frameworks
• Collaborate well with the team members
• Actively involve the development process
• Work with cross-functional teams

Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Passion for testing & learning product functionalities
• Strong programming expertise
• Experienced in programming with any one or more of the programming languages: Java, Python, Ruby or equivalent

Education and Experience

• Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering (Preferably from computer science and electrical engineering background)
• 3 – 6 years of test engineering experience with expertise testing scalable and distributed systems
• Should be comfortable with any one of the cloud platform AWS or Google Cloud platform
• Jenkins expertise is certainly a plus

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment background verification

Travel Requirements

• Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• This is largely a sedentary role.
• This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
