Job Description

Requirement Title : Sr. Tableau Developer

Availability : 5 days a week from Vadodara office

Experience :5-7 years

Primary Skills:

4 years of extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration / architecture

Strong Understanding of data security and its implementation

Working knowledge of any other BI tool like Power BI is a plus.

Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL queries.

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

Proficiency in analytics and database querying tools

Excellent analytical skills to forecast and predict trends and insights using past and current data.

Enterprise-level experience in data story telling.

Knowledge of data migration, Tableau integration, and extensions

Roles & Responsibilities:

Help with Solution architecture, proof of concept/prototype design, database design, and report testing.

Responsible for data analysis and developing reporting specs, developing reports, and developing dashboards and writing complex SQL queries.

Work closely with business users to create reports/dashboards using Tableau.

Collect data from various data sources , refine, and prepare data for analytics and visualization and normalize it.

Define access controls and implement security measures whenever required.

Apply algorithms and statistical methods to obtain answers from data.

Create Prompts, Calculated Fields, customize Calculations, Conditions and Filter (Local, Global) for various analytical reports and dashboards.

Effectively use data blending, filters, actions, Hierarchies feature in Tableau.

Work on Level of detail expressions and Table Calculations.

Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.

Experience in creating user groups, and scheduled instances for reports in Tableau.

Build, publish customized interactive reports and dashboards on Tableau server.

Actively manage the performance and usability of Tableau to get the desired result.
