• Create lesson plans: Develop dance curriculums and lesson plans for group and private lessons 
• Choreograph routines: Design dance routines for recitals, concerts, and individual performances 
• Evaluate student performance: Assess students' performance and progress, and make recommendations for improvement 
• Provide feedback: Give constructive feedback and provide clear instructions 
• Maintain dance skills: Keep up to date with dance styles and techniques, and implement changes to the curriculum and routines as needed
