The IBDP Psychology Teacher and Behavioral Counselor at OWIS Sarjapur plays a key role in delivering the IBDP Psychology curriculum, while also supporting students' mental health and personal development. Responsibility :

Behavioral and Emotional Support: Offer counseling services to students, addressing behavioral or emotional challenges, and develop personalized intervention plans to support their well-being and personal development.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student growth, providing insights and strategies to foster both academic success and emotional health.

Expert Knowledge in Psychology and Counseling: In-depth understanding of psychological theories, concepts, and practices, along with strong counseling skills to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges in students.
Effective Communication and Empathy: Ability to communicate complex psychological concepts clearly, while also demonstrating empathy and active listening to build trust and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
Classroom Management and Intervention Strategies: Skilled in managing classroom dynamics, creating a supportive learning environment, and implementing personalized behavioral intervention plans to guide students toward emotional well-being and academic success.
