Job Description

Responsible for profitability of plant through evaluation of allmetrics including revenue and cost drivers, yield, usage, all plant operating expensesto guide and drive better plant performance. Analyse key variances tounderstand drivers, discuss on actions to reduce the variance and work withsite head to implement the same

Analysis and review of key performance indicators for plantperformance with department managers and heads, tracking initiatives andrecommendations for improvement

Annual budgeting exercise: To lead the annualbudgeting exercise for revenue and capital expenses through discussions withthe site heads, historical trends in expenses as well as management guidance tobe in-line with revenue and recovery, Budgeting for material costs as well asFG Costing & build improvements in-line with guidance

Working on savings initiatives in terms of identification,alignment and track through for implementation to ensure flow through infinancials

Due diligence and evaluation of CapEx proposals prior toapproval for management decision making

Accounting and Closure

Closing of monthly financials and accounting in line withcorporate timelines & schedule and requirements including recon ciliation of all balancesheet accounts. Ensure balance sheet hygiene through regular review of balancesheet items as well as ensure closure of old open items

Verifying the accuracy of accounting for all expenses includinglabour and overheads. Ensuring compliances related to Direct and Indirect taxes

Ensure fixed assets tagging, capitalisation and books. CapitalIO hygiene through timely closure of Internal orders and surrender of balancebudgets to management

Support the Organisation s PLI Initiative through co-ordinationwith the central team and providing relevant information from time to time

GST: Support Taxation team through representations at GST officeand participation in hearings

Inventory & Costing

Inventory tracking & Ageing analysis, alerts to siteleadership for slow moving and non-moving inventory, drive actions forconsumption or sell off of the same

Analysing additions to block stock on monthly basis and ensure additionsare reduced year-on-year. Track quality rejections of materials & liaisewith stakeholders for return to vendor and recoveries made from them

Ensure recipes of products are appropriately maintained in termsof process times and correctly reflecting for the costing

Audits & Compliance

Liaison with internal auditors& statutory auditors for plant audit, submit the compliances, statements tocorporate

Internaland statutory audit observations to be discussed at site leadership level andactions to be taken for closure of the observations

Ensureall payments are routed through electronic channels only and all masters aremaintained properly

Automation:

Reductionin manual effort through automated IT reports/dashboards for reports and analytics
