Sr. Accountant Continuous

Job Responsibilities:

1.Demonstrate strong domain expertise in the Record-to-Report (R2R) process, including:
o Cash Applications
o Intercompany Transactions
o Reconciliations
o Fixed Assets
o Journal Entries
o Month-End Close Processes
o Internal Audits
o Royalty and Key Business Metrics Reporting
2. Utilize knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and other ERPs such as Blackline, Trintech, Hyperion, and Workiva to streamline and optimize R2R processes.
3.Drive initiatives that leverage SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to improve real-time reporting, optimize financial processes, data management, and improve visibility into financial performance.
4.Lead and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and projects in the R2R domain, incorporating:
o Blackline Tool
o Intelligent Automation
o ERP Implementation and Optimization
o Standardization Efforts
5.Collaborate with Global Process Owners (GPOs) to design and execute GA transformation projects and process solutions
6.Apply process re-engineering techniques and subject-matter expertise to evaluate and enhance business operations. (Ensure clean data migration from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA).
7.Support in the development and maintenance of SAC-based financial performance dashboards, including KPIs such as EBITDA, gross margin, working capital, and others, to monitor R2R performance.
8.Conduct diagnostics, due diligence, co-design workshops, process mining and create transformation roadmaps for R2R engagements.
9.Proactively identify and address process control gaps in collaboration with process owners.
10.Support automation initiatives with tools such as VBA scripting, Alteryx, and Power Platforms.
11.Manage quality investigations, Matrix definitions, RCA, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and ensure process compliance.
12.Monitor and validate KPIs/SLAs for R2R and prepare accurate global metric reports. Proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization tools is a plus.
13.Provide oversight for balance sheet exposure, intercompany clearing, and unresolved reconciling items.
14.Provide support for GMD activities, including the SAP Financial Month-End Close process and other tasks as required.
15.Responsible for the completeness validity of the data in SAP.
16.Team reviews and resolves discrepancies identified by the system or through manual checks as per guidelines, issues data clarification forms as and when required.
17.Experience of Master Data maintenance strategies and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications and Tools:

Familiarity with Intelligent Automation and AI tools.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse (BW), and data integration tools is preferred.

Knowledge of S4 MDG is an added advantage.
Exposure to process mining tools like Celonis.

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

Shift Timings: 1 PM to 10 PM (Flexible as per business requirements)

Basic Qualifications- :

Graduate (Masters Degree Preferred)
Total Years of Experience: 8 - 10 years
