Role & responsibilities

1. Program Testing:Test developed Siemens/Rockwell PLC and SCADA programs against project specifications, P&I Diagrams, and Functional Specification (FS) documents.
Conduct IFAT (Internal Factory Acceptance Test) and CAT (Customer Acceptance Test) to ensure software functionality and quality.
2. Online Support:Provide online support to site engineers for bug identification, corrections, and program development during project execution.
Ensure timely resolution of software challenges encountered by service engineers or customers.
3. Customer Interaction:Understand inputs and concerns from customers or site engineers regarding software challenges.Study, analyze, and rovide quick and effective resolutions via online support or on-site intervention.
4. Complaint Management:
Efficiently handle multiple site complaints simultaneously, ensuring prioritized and effective resolutions.
5. Software Delivery: Develop, test, and deliver PLC and SCADA programs with high quality and accuracy per the FS document to customers at the site.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, Process, Engineering, and Factory teams, to ensure smooth project execution and resolution of issues. Actively participate in project kick-offs, internal FATs, and customer FATs.
7. Customer Requirement Implementation: Coordinate with customers on-site to understand their requirements and provide necessary support for implementation.
8. Ensure compliance with customer queries before the final handover of the project.
9. Documentation and Reporting:Maintain comprehensive records of program testing, bug resolution, and customer interactions for reference and continuous improvement.
10. Travel:Be ready to travel as and when required to support on-site project needs or participate in customer interactions.

Preferred candidate profile

- Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming (e.g., S7-1200, S7-1500) and WinCC SCADA.

OR

Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation software, including RSLogix, Studio 5000, and FactoryTalk View.
- Strong understanding of automation systems, sterile pharmaceutical workflows, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and customer interactions.
- Flexibility for travel based on project needs.
