Sales Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Technical sales support for the organization
• Generates and processes new client quotations as per client URS and submission of offer using Sales tool
• Travel for Customer site & HO for kick-off and technical discussion as per need arises
• Driving the sales process and ensuring adherence to Defined SLA for support.
• Payment collection for Advances, Dispatch and retention and updating the reports
• Coordination with Cross functional teams for getting desired information for the projects.
• Provides any necessary data or reports to the Management and Sales team as per defined SLA.
• Exerts attention to detail, as customers may have the same problems; reports the problems as necessary
• Acknowledges customers by responding to emails, texts, and phone calls
• Updates all contact information for clients
• Deals with any customer complaints and resolves the issue as necessary
• Does any necessary administrative work including filing reports or presenting sales team with necessary document
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
• Proficiency in English (oral and written)
• Should be task oriented
• Should work in unison with the technical team and front-end team
• Multitasking skills
• Preferably someone with similar industry or any other industry dealing with OEMs / Capital equipment
• Post sales handover for execution to projects team as per Master project charter guidelines and Escalation within the team incase of delays.
• Answers phone calls from customers and deals with problems as they arise

Work Experience Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
• In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Must have worked on sales tools like CRM/ Sales force
• Conversant with ERP
