Azure Devops Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our client's Azure infrastructure, including both Azure servers and DevOps integration with cloud servers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to Azure App Services and Virtual Machines.
• Automate and script repetitive tasks across servers to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and configure Azure applications for alerting and periodic task automation.
• Provision cloud-based server infrastructure for seamless deployment of new applications.
• Analyze existing infrastructure to recommend cost-effective solutions that optimize resource usage and reduce costs.
• Regularly monitor databases and services to ensure smooth operation, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
• Set up alerts for detecting anomalies or failures in the infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications, such as Azure (AZ-104 required, AZ-400 preferred), Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
• 4 -6 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles, with a strong foundation in project support.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible, and expertise in automating deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Vagrant, Puppet, Bitbucket, Azure API Manager, and Azure Front Door is a plus.
• Experience in migrating legacy systems to cloud-based environments and automating operational workflows.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), code review processes, and testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to engage in Level 3 support and incident response.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective collaboration with Cloud Systems and Network Engineering teams.
• Experience with Hub-and-Spoke networking architecture is an advantage.
• Awareness of regulatory standards and compliance policies related to cloud platform provisioning.
