Azure Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure DevOps to join our dynamic team. Azure Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure components such as Azure App services,
  virtual machines, networks, storage, and databases.
• Monitor Azure resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization, implementing
  improvements as necessary.

Security Architecture and Implementation:

• Develop and implement robust security measures to safeguard Azure environments against
  cyber threats, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with the security team to implement identity and access management, encryption, and other security controls.
• Manage the Security Operations Center (SOC)

Security Compliance:

• Participate in the SOC II Compliance process to ensure that the company meets SOC II
  requirements. Conducts Audits, Gap Analysis and implements an adequate remediation plan
  when needed.
• Collaborate with the Security Compliance Specialist in ensuring that Azure environments
  comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure infrastructure configurations, security
  policies, and procedures.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs to enhance the skills and
  expertise of team members.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent
  experience).
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure, and
  cloud application, fully scripted (IaC), with a focus on security.
• Strong knowledge of Azure SQL administration and in SQL scripting
• Good understanding of Azure services and capabilities, including Azure Active Directory,
  Azure Security Center, Azure Networking, and Azure Governance.
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as Azure Security Center,
  Azure Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Firewall.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
  with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST.
• Expertise in DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Azure certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft
  Certified or equivalent.
• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
