Salesforce FSL Integration Lead

A Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Integration Lead is responsible for overseeing the integration of FSL with other systems and ensuring seamless data flow and functionality. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications for this role

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing business requirements and devising strategies for FSL integration.
• Integration Design and Architecture:
• Lead the design and architecture of complex integrations between Salesforce and other systems (e.g., ERP, financial systems, marketing automation platforms, legacy systems etc.).
• Define integration patterns, data mapping, and transformation logic.
• Develop and maintain integration documentation, including technical specifications and data flow diagrams.
• Ensure integrations adhere to Salesforce best practices and security standards.

Development and Implementation:

• Lead the development and implementation of integrations using various tools and technologies, including:
• Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API)
• Middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica Cloud)
• ETL tools
• Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) (as needed for custom integrations)
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on integration best practices.

Technical Expertise and Best Practices:

• Maintain deep expertise in Salesforce integration technologies and best practices.
• Promote and enforce coding standards and best practices within the development team.
• Contribute to the development of integration frameworks and reusable components.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor integration performance and identify areas for optimization.
• Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies to ensure efficient data flow.

Qualifications we seek in you!

• Relevant experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on integrations.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API).
• Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica Cloud) is highly preferred.
• Experience with ETL tools and data mapping.
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns (e.g., point-to-point, publish/subscribe, message queuing).
• Experience with data security and compliance best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architecture Designer) are a plus.
