Inviting applications for the role of Senior Business Analyst (Tech/Digital Automation)

In this role, you will be working in the capacity of a Functional Business Analyst and leverage your expertise and skills to support and build new solutions. You are expected to participate in various digital and non-digital projects being initiated by our customers. You will interact with various stakeholders in business, risk 1st and 2nd line of defense and technology to elicit, communicate, and gather requirements, while ensuring robust solutions are designed and delivered as per the organization’s standards.

Responsibilities

1. Work with Business on Data consumer requirements, data elements, data flows, controls/DQ rule in Retail Banking Use Cases (including End User Computing (EUC) remediation projects).
2. Review, analyze and evaluate business processes, procedures, process tools, EUCs, legacy applications for gaps, redundancies and enhancements
3. Collaborate across multiple teams, including Technology, CDO, Business to ensure requirements are well understood and solution being built are in line with requirements.
4. Strong Communication skills to drive projects end to end from requirements gathering, reviews, Q & A to independently drive project/task to closure.
5. Strong Data Analysis skill using MS Excel is critical. Should be able to articulate and summarize the key outcomes/value adds/deliverables for Senior Stakeholders and Executives in PowerPoint.
6. Understand and gather data requirements for items such as but not limited to new data demands, new regulatory consumption, attribute mapping, defining aggregation rules.

• Good documentation exposure - Data Cataloging, Data lineage, Data concepts, Business Data quality rule definition etc.
• Knowledge of DQ standards, guidelines, and best practices

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

1. Expertise in handling large volume of data, perform data analysis and ensure data is fit for purpose
1. SQL Skills - reading and writing SQL for Data discovery analysis
2. Data Element identification: Critical Data Element Mapping to Physical Data elements
3. Ability to understand Lineage docs and Data catalogues
2. Good understanding of databases and data structures.
3. Well versed with Microsoft Word, Excel for Data Analysis (Create Pivots, Adv Calculation/Formulas). PowerPoint
4. 7-10+ years of work experience in the Banking domain with exposure to Retail Banking or Wealth Management areas and projects
5. Willingness to adopt and embrace changes in business priorities and self-manage deliverables

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Prior experience working in Regulatory projects such as CCAR, Y 9C etc. is good to have.
• Prior working knowledge Credit Risk Reporting/Management experience in Retail Banking would be beneficial
• Working knowledge on MS SharePoint
• Working knowledge on MS Visio
• Good to have working knowledge in JIRA usage.
