This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, Income Tax, GST.

Role & responsibilities

• Understand the business of the client and individually handle the client
• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements
• Record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
• Process employee payroll, including deductions, benefits, and taxes
• Manage, prepare and file TDS returns of multiple clients
• Manage and prepare GST reconciliations
• Preparation of Vendor and customer reconciliations
• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and ensure accuracy

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA (Inter)/CMA (Inter) Passed (Optional)
• Proven experience as an Accountant or in a related financial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Tally, ZOHO)
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 3+ years experience of work with a Chartered Accountant Firm or in any other organization having the above work experience
