Position Overview:
The Technical Recruitment Manager will work remotely from offshore, aligning with onshore hours in the EST time zone. This role is not open to third-party or C2C arrangements. As a key extension of the business, the Technical Recruitment Manager will oversee the interviewing, screening, and recommendation of prospective employees for various technical roles. Collaborating closely with the Recruitment Team, the Manager will ensure each candidate submission meets technical requirements and aligns with the Talent Acquisition process. Daily interactions with clients, hiring managers, and internal leadership are essential to ensure the team is providing quality talent efficiently to both internal teams and external clients.
The Technical Recruitment Manager will also be responsible for maintaining and managing the recruitment team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and developing a high-performing group of recruitment specialists. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of IT recruitment, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and effective team environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to both recruitment and team management, acting as a Player/Coach while reporting to the Director of Recruitment and Operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Team Management: Lead and mentor the technical recruitment team, ensuring a streamlined and efficient hiring process.
• Senior-Level Recruitment: Drive recruitment efforts for senior-level positions within e-business and IT, addressing both internal and external hiring needs.
• Strategic Recruitment: Develop and execute innovative strategies to attract top-tier candidates, enhancing the recruitment pipeline.
• Leadership Collaboration: Partner with the Director of Recruitment and Operations to share best practices, address critical hiring needs, and align with corporate initiatives.
• Resume Screening: Review IT resumes, parsing specialized qualifications and skills to match candidates with job requirements.
• Candidate Sourcing: Leverage professional platforms, job boards, and networking to source high-quality candidates.
• Job Analysis: Conduct task and job analysis to accurately document job duties and role requirements.
• Tech Trend Awareness: Stay current with emerging technological products and trends to better align recruitment strategies with evolving IT needs.
• Brand Promotion: Actively promote the companys and clients reputations to attract top talent.
• Networking: Engage in tech meetups and conferences to connect with skilled IT professionals and expand the talent pool.
• Hiring Forecasting: Collaborate with team leaders to forecast hiring needs and set departmental recruitment goals.
• Candidate Outreach: Craft and send personalized recruiting emails to passive candidates for current job openings.
• Pre-Screening: Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidates' skills and abilities.
• Candidate Interviews: Interview candidates using a mix of technical assessments, behavioral questions, and structured interviews.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Recruitment Experience: Proven experience as a US Technical Recruitment Manager with expertise in full-cycle recruiting.
• Recruitment Knowledge: Deep understanding of recruiting methods, best practices, and applicable employment laws.
• Technology Understanding: In-depth knowledge of technical roles, skills, and the evolving technology landscape.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Boolean Search Expertise: Proficient in creating and using Boolean search strings for candidate sourcing.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Supervisory Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and develop a high-performing team.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• ATS and CRM Tools: Proficiency with resume databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and CRM tools such as Ceipal, Bullhorn, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• PLAYER/COACH Role: Actively participate in recruitment efforts while coaching and mentoring the team to improve their skills and performance.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage the technical recruitment team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge for success.
• Workflow Management: Oversee the daily workflow of the recruitment team to ensure efficiency and meet organizational goals.
• Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and setting improvement goals.
• Disciplinary Action: Handle discipline and termination of team members in accordance with company policies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Time-to-Fill: Maintain a time-to-fill that meets or exceeds industry standards.
• Quality of Hire: Ensure candidates hired meet or exceed performance expectations and fit within the company culture.
• Offer Acceptance Rate: Achieve a high percentage of accepted job offers compared to offers extended.
• Candidate Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of satisfaction among candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Recruiter Productivity: Meet or exceed individual and team targets for candidate submissions, interviews, and placements.
• Diversity Hiring: Implement diversity hiring initiatives to ensure a diverse and inclusive candidate pool.
