Job Description
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on specifications and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and product designers to create and modify designs.
- Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Perform simulations and stress analysis on designs to assess feasibility and performance.
- Review and verify design plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare documentation and assembly instructions for manufacturing teams.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
- Maintain and update CAD libraries and databases.
- Assist in the development and improvement of CAD processes and best practices.
- Provide support and training to junior CAD designers and engineers.
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and civil design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with 3D modeling, simulations, and design analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in design.
- Master s degree in a related field.
- Certification in CAD software (e.g., Autocad Certified Professional).
- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics industry.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- This role will be an onsite role.
