Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and systems in Revit 3D/2D and AutoCAD according to project requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine layout plans for buildings and infrastructure projects.
Utilize BIM technology to create detailed spatial arrangements and optimize the overall design.
Integrate equipment space planning seamlessly into the overall BIM model.
Work closely with stakeholders to plan and allocate space for various equipment within buildings or factories.
Utilize AutoCAD to strategically place equipment within the factory or building layout.
Ensure accurate representation of equipment placement in both 2D and 3D models.
Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design options to optimize the design process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
Generate and maintain engineering documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and technical reports.
Collaborate with customers on understanding the project requirement and regularly adjust design as per customer requirement.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor s or Masters in mechanical, civil, structural or electrical engineering.
Knowledge of fluid mechanics, HVAC, machine design, electrical power systems, structural, civil architecture and modeling.
0-3 Years of experience in Revit 3D/2D and AutoCAD.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication (verbal/written/oral) in English and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Intergraph Smart 3D - 2D CAD Software.
