Senior Software Engineer I/II focus on applying the principles of engineering to software development. The role includes analyzing and modifying existing software as well as creating new software and designing, constructing and testing end-user applications that meet user needs all through software programming languages.

As a Software Engineer I/II, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing core platform features, contributing to the development of smart and autonomous building infrastructure. You will work on integrating Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC Controls, and IoT devices using industry-standard protocols like BACnet/MODBUS. You will be developing and optimizing cloud-based services to ensure high availability, security, and scalability of our platform.

You Will

Design and build scalable backend software components that support our growing Smart Building Platform.

Contribute as a full-stack engineer, working across backend and frontend technologies if you wish to

Drive ambitious system design and architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Write high-quality, testable code, and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD processes.

Help scale our platform, improving resilience, reliability, and efficiency as we grow

Our Tech Stack

We believe strong engineers can learn any stack, but our current technologies include:

Backend: .NET, Node.js, C/C++

Frontend: React

Databases: PostgreSQL, SQL, OpenSearch

Infrastructure: AWS

You Are/Have

BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.

3-5+ years of software engineering experience.

Intellectually curious and ambitious, eager to solve complex technical challenges.

Passionate about working in a team that prioritizes Product Velocity shipping high-quality solutions efficiently.

Proficient in programming languages like C#, .NET, Node.js, Python, or similar.

Strong expertise in database technologies, designing scalable and efficient data models.

Hands-on experience with cloud architecture in AWS or Azure.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.

Bonus (Nice to Have, but Not Required)

Experience building IoT products using modern tech stacks.

Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, M-Bus, and MQTT.

Hands-on experience with BAS platforms like Siemens , Johnson Controls, Honeywell Niagara, Distech, etc.
