Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop, and Implement: Create and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and functionalities based on business requirements. Develop custom applications and integrate ServiceNow with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize ServiceNow platform components, including workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies. Ensure adherence to best practices and optimize platform performance.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide support for ServiceNow issues, including troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving incidents. Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent future issues.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements. Translate these requirements into technical specifications and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. Ensure all changes are documented and version-controlled.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions. Address any issues identified during testing phases.
• Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide training and support to end-users and other team members. Share knowledge and best practices related to ServiceNow development and platform management.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest ServiceNow features, updates, and best practices. Proactively suggest and implement improvements to enhance the platforms capabilities and performance.

Requirements:

• Experience: 6-10 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong background in ServiceNow platform customization, integration, and application development.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, and Service Catalog.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, including CMDB, GlideRecord, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub and other integration tools.
• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator is highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Team Player: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to project success.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
• Experience with additional ServiceNow modules or applications is a plus.
