S&OP Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic S&OP Manager to join our team at the Sanand Plant in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be a Printing Technologist who has a strong background in production and is now transitioning into planning. The candidate should have hands-on experience with various printing processes and must possess deep knowledge of production and supply chain operations.

The S&OP Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective sales and operations planning, coordinating between sales, production, and supply chain departments, and optimizing production schedules based on demand forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end S&OP process at the plant.
• Collaborate with the production, sales, and supply chain teams to develop and manage the production schedule, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts and customer demand.
• Analyze demand trends and production capabilities to plan for optimal resource allocation and minimize production bottlenecks.
• Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain activities to ensure on-time delivery and the smooth operation of plant activities.
• Drive improvements in planning processes, forecasting accuracy, and production efficiency.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, operations, and inventory.
• Lead and facilitate regular S&OP meetings with cross-functional teams, providing timely updates on production status, demand forecast adjustments, and inventory levels.
• Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are identified and implemented across the planning and production processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Education: Degree in Printing Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in production and at least 2-3 years in a planning-focused role.
• In-depth knowledge of various printing processes and production techniques.
• Strong understanding of sales forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Proficient in S&OP software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.

• Proactive and results-driven, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
