Safety Officer

Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Diploma in Fire and Safety/B.Sc

Budget - 35000-45000 per month.

Working-Monday to Saturday

Timing- 8.30 am to 6:30 pm

Role & responsibilities

• Responsible to maintain safety requirements in workshop.
• MUST be able to comply and update with regular Legal requirements-Factories Act/Environmental Act ( government policies)/Health and safety authority.
• Maintain records,make documents for regular internal audit requirement as per ISO standards.ISO 9001-2015/14001-2015/45001-2018 .
• Face audits and certification needs.
• Make SOP and work instruction as per requirement of Standards.
• Conduct tool box talk before starting activity.
• Knowhow of PPE.
• Conduct training programmes for awareness of Company policy,general safety, emergency plan.

Desired profile:-

• We require from engineering sector who has worked in factories because we have welding,grinding,cutting etc activity in manufacturing
• Legal work experience related to factory act /environment act is needed
• Managing hot work/confined space/heavy lifting/working at height/electrical safety permits /drill plans/fire and safety/hazardous waste management
• Hazardous Identification & Risk Assessment(HIRA
• Environmental and waste management eg pollution control,waste disposal .Filing necessary returns for the same.
