Job Description
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain cloud-based software solutions
- Actively improve software using Scrum and Agile development methodologies, including daily standups and iteration planning meetings.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
- Ability to take ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members.
- Has the ability to analyse impact of technology choices.
- Expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
- Drive code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation
- Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
- Promotes transparency by proactively sharing design choices with appropriate audiences, with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.
- Demonstrates expert understanding of functional and nonfunctional requirements and their priority within the backlog.
- Work as an individual contributor and closely collaborate with architect and technical leaders.
- Should have the organizational skills to aid the business in developing global products cutting across technologies and deployment models.
- Ability to work on different technologies and work with team to deliver cutting edge solutions.
Technical Expertise:
- Preference will be given to candidates with 1 or more years of experience developing web-based solutions that involve programming languages and web application platforms Angular with ASP.NET Core
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience developing applications with both relational databases and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Cassandra.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience developing and supporting applications in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience docker, Kubernetes and monitoring tools such as DataDog to handle deployment and operation of applications.
- 3+ years building responsive web applications for desktop and mobile devices.
- 3+ years with HTML, CSS, TypeScript and JavaScript
- 3+ years integrating web applications with back-end services
- 3+ years working with Git or similar source code control
