Job Description for the role of Assistant Manager/Manager (Legal)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Legal professionals to provide expert legal support and draft a variety of legal documents for our company. The ideal candidate should have a good command over RERA, corporate law, civil and consumer laws, contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and legal advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Reviewing Legal Documents: Prepare and draft legal documents including Written Statements, Notices, contracts, agreements, memorandum, policies, and other corporate documents.
• Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice counsel to management and departments on various legal matters, including but not limited to contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that the company complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Contract Management: Manage the company contracts, ensuring they are maintained, renewed, or terminated according to company requirements.
• Negotiation Support: Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements, ensuring favourable terms and legal protections for the company.
• Litigation Management: Coordinate with external counsel on litigation matters as needed and provide internal support in dispute resolution processes.
• Legal Research: Conduct legal research to stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that may impact the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Law (LLB, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in RERA, civil and consumer laws, corporate law, contract drafting, or legal advisory roles, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial law, and corporate governance.
• Excellent drafting and legal writing skills.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing proactive legal solutions.
