Job Description
- Legal Advisory:
- Provide expert advice on corporate laws, regulations, and compliance.
- Counsel management on legal implications of business activities and transactions.
- Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure all documents are in compliance with legal and company standards.
- Corporate Transactions:
- Support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate initiatives.
- Conduct due diligence and structure deals to mitigate legal risks.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to address legal risks.
- Litigation and Dispute Resolution:
- Manage and oversee external counsel for legal disputes.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, and mediations.
- Corporate Governance:
- Maintain statutory records and oversee corporate filings.
- Advise on shareholder agreements, board meetings, and governance policies.
