Manager - Continuous Improvement

BASIC PURPOSE AND FUNCTION:

This role is responsible for leadership and development of programs that educate teammates about lean concepts that lead to the identification, development, and implementation of improvements in operations. Focuses on improvement activity results in improved safety, productivity, quality, and cost reductions.

DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

1. Identify issues and challenges, lead/facilitate improvement projects, measure and validate project results, and facilitate successful implementation of all facets of process improvements or changes identified
2. Execute a data-driven, statistical approach to problem solving, including gathering, analysing and reporting data. Establish metrics to monitor financial savings as compared to established goals and targets
3. Enable stable operations by defining appropriate metrics to gage processes performance and by deriving actionable insights.
4. Drive Continuous improvement quality culture in the organization through various lean projects & trainings.
5. Presenting project analysis and findings to senior leadership to obtain the approval, funding and other requirements to resolve the issue.
6. Collaborate well with plant quality & operations teams

The incumbent reports to Plant Manager and support him in all day to day operations to achieve the business objectives of the company.
