POSITION SUMMARY:

We are searching for a Engineer HSE & CI who possesses the good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing. TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Model line, cycle time OEE and other to do day to day activity of CI and HSE. He will be equally responsible for CI as well as HSE. He must be able to coordinate with all required internal department to do the required jobs of production independently as per guidance from Manager Manufacturing.

THE ROLE

The employee is responsible for implementing environmental, health & safety programs for site including remote Warehouse locations. This may include delivering training on best safety practices, recognizing occupational hazards and meeting corporate requirements and local regulations.

Role & responsibilities

1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders

• Mapping out current manufacturing processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement through data collection and analysis using tools.
• Provide channels for employees to give feedback on safety practices and suggest improvements
• Provide training and coaching to all associates in all aspects of Continuous Improvement. Audit Process as per Continuous Improvement Standards with the relevant checklists. To Prepare Manual, create template, formats for Standardization.

2: Process / Performance

• Educating employees at all levels on continuous improvement methodologies and tools, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• s analyzing and optimizing the workflow on a production line by strategically assigning tasks to different workstations, ensuring each station has roughly equal workload and minimizing idle time, ultimately aiming to maximize production efficiency and output
• Conducting time studies to determine the time required for each task by a qualified worker and Conduct time studies to establish standard work times for various processes.
• Calculating the required production rate to meet customer demand ("takt time"). .
• Analyze worker movements and workstation layouts to reduce unnecessary motion.

3: People

• Suggesting changes to the physical layout of the production line to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Improve manufacturing and production processes using lean manufacturing.

• Implementing line balancing changes and monitoring their effectiveness over time.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of OSHAS regulations, NFPA, IFC and EPA.
• Sound knowledge of excel as well as Power Point.
• Good communication levels in English verbal as well as written.
• Good Planning and Organizing Capabilities.
• Committed towards Responsibilities.
• Ability to work in high stress environment performs multiple tasks, make decisions and handle emergency situations.
• Minimum 3 years, proven track record in Continuous Improvement, HSE& Safety.
• Diploma / Btech in Mechanical Engineering
