Data Analytics Lead (Data Engineer)

The Data and Analytics team in Customer and Market Research is the Center of Excellence enabling fact-based decision-making across Global Product Management (GPM). We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Lead Data Analyst to join our growing team, to help execute, govern and evolve our data integration platform, tapping key yet distinct types of data sources while effectively and efficiently preparing the data to answer a vast range of business questions. We are looking for cutting edge leaders to not only to directly solve real-time business challenges, but to help streamline business unit operations and build the organization s analytical capabilities at scale. What you will do:

Data Intake Management / Optimization

o Help ensure consistent data flow from existing pipelines

o Help expand data pipelines to bring in more and more data needed for the business

o Help evaluate data flow benefit/cost optimization decisions

o Help identify and implement process automation opportunities

Data Inventory Management / Optimization

o Contribute to expanding and maintaining a documented library of transformed data objects

o Contribute to governance of transformation rules, per business standards

o Contribute to assuring the interoperability of data objects to generate new insights

o Help identify and implement process automation opportunities

Data Accessibility Management / Optimization

o Help maximize performance and consistency for users accessing transformed data objects

o Help identify and implement technologies/methods to simplify how users find desired data

o Help identify and implement process automation opportunities

What you ll need:

• Bachelor s degree in analytical discipline; Masters preferred; focus in technical/business fields ideal

• 5-7 years of overall business experience

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in development and support of ETL processes, including architecting table structure, building ETL processes, documentation, and long-term preparedness

• Strong experience in the building of a data warehouse, preferably including data mart design and Azure cloud deployment

• Customer-focused with a no-limits mindset

• Results oriented with a strong attention to details while not getting lost in them

• Strong communications skills - ability to partner with both business and technical professionals

• Excellent multi-tasking and collaboration capabilities

• Demonstratable experience in data warehousing is a must

• Demonstratable programming experience - preferably in Python - strongly preferred

• Demonstratable experience with Azure Data Factory strongly preferred

• Familiarity with cloud-based databases and business applications strongly preferred

• Working knowledge of web experience tracking and analysis tools preferred

• Familiarity with regulations and ongoing regulatory activity related to data usage preferred
