Manager - Communication and Media

Content Creation & Management:

1. Develop high-quality, impactful content across various platforms including the website, social media, newsletters, press releases, blogs, and reports.
2. Work with program teams to translate complex programmatic information into accessible and engaging stories for diverse audiences.
3. Oversee the production of multimedia content (e.g., videos, infographics, podcasts) to effectively communicate the organizations work.
4. Periodically review, revise, commission development and execution of training and development content related to Jaya Alliance and DLE.
5. Ensure timely closure and production of content the Jaya Platform/DL One

Brand Management:

1. Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all communications channels.
2. Oversee the development of branding guidelines and ensure adherence across all programs and departments.
3. Manage the organizations online presence, including maintaining the website and leading social media strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement:

1. Work closely with the partnership team to create donor-facing materials and campaigns, highlighting the impact of their contributions.
2. Support internal communications, ensuring staff and volunteers are well-informed about organizational developments.
3. Lead or support advocacy and outreach initiatives to engage stakeholders and foster partnerships.

Vendor Management & Collaboration:

1. Select, Negotiate and Supervise freelancers, or agencies involved in content creation, PR, or media management.
2. Review and ensure quality control of all communication and content collateral and material developed and executed.
3. Work collaboratively with other departments, including program teams, partnerships and leadership, to align communications with overall organizational objectives.
4. Manage track the performance of campaigns and strategies.

Requirements-

• Knowledge of online design tools (like Canva, basic Photoshop)
• Technical knowledge, as well as creative skills and aesthetic sensibilities
• Good verbal and written communication skills, creative efficiency and ability to present ideas.
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with marketing team.
