Driving Institute - Manager

Job Role

• Recruit, hire and train new driving instructors.
• Evaluate and monitor instructor performance, providing feedback and mentoring as needed.
• Preparing instructor schedules to optimise class availability.
• Ensure instructors adhere to company policies and safety norms
• Develop and implement a comprehensive driving curriculum aligned with local regulations.
• Manage student registration and Driving class schedule.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and ensure maintenance of all the vehicles are in good condition. Maintaining proper maintenance records and getting the proper license and insurance.
• Monitor and track student progress throughout their training.
• Respond to customer inquiries and address concerns promptly.
• Provide information about driving courses and fees options.
• Handle student complaints and resolve issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of vehicles.
• Implement safety procedures and enforce compliance
• Develop marketing strategies to attract new students.
• Collaborate with local communities to promote driving courses.
• Offer promotional schemes and special deals when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven driving skills and a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills to effectively train students.
• Ability to manage a team of instructors and motivate them to achieve high standards.
• Efficient time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students and address concerns.
• Thorough understanding of driving laws and regulations. Should be able to develop a good rapport with the Transport authorities.

Should be a graduate, preferably in Automobile engineering with 10 to 15 yrs. of experience in the relevant field.
