Job Description for Sales Manager



Responsibilities:
* Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
* Make customer visits.
* Making product /service presentations.
* Arranging products and services demonstrations.
* Build business by maintaining relationships with existing customers and finding new customers.
* Sell products/services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
* Negotiate service contracts.
* Collect timely payments.
* Work with operations to get the service issues resolved.
* Make revenue forecasts and meet the revenue targets.
* Gather and share market information Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
* Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Build, mentor and motivate a team.
* Plan and forecast team's revenue.
* Solve the team's problems and guide them in achieving their targets.



The candidates should demonstrate proficiency in the following skills:
* Sales planning and forecasting.
* Discover business opportunities and establish connections with the concerned persons.
* Able to clearly communicate in English and local language.
* Able to make a convincing presentation.
* Set goals with the team and measure its performance on a regular basis.
* Maintaining client relationships.
* Maintaining good energy levels during work hours.
* Ability to negotiate win-win agreements .
* Ability to plan ahead.
* Meeting sales goals.
* Work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in use of MS Office tools and other productivity tools.



Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
* Bachelor' degree from a reputed university
* At least 5 years of sales experience in Material Handling or Warehousing industry
* Candidates having sales training or MBA will be preferred.
