Fullstack Developer

Elevate is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to work closely with the Product Management/ Business Unit, and Engineering teams. You should be an ace programmer with at least 5+ years of experience as a programmer. As a product development team member, you will apply intermediate to advanced knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software products according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Specifically, this role will involve:

• Software Architecture Design: Contribute intermediate to advanced knowledge to develop, debug, and design software according to specified requirements.
• Enhancements & Improvements: Implement enhancements within existing software architecture and propose necessary improvements.
• Project Requirement Clarification: Interact with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to clarify project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Programming Task Management: Organize and prioritize tasks within the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) following Agile Scrum methodology.
• Collaboration: Work with Product Management for clear acceptance criteria and Quality Assurance (QA) for test-driven development.
• Scalable Solutions Design: Design solutions that are scalable to enterprise/global levels, including architecture and algorithm development.
• Coding Standards Adherence: Ensure programming is problem-solving oriented, performance-efficient, succinct, modular, maintainable, and adheres to coding standards.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough unit testing and maintain consistent quality control throughout the implementation process.
• Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of the product's business logic to the level of a Subject Matter Expert (SME), confidently engaging with clients on product features.
• Technical Discussions: Participate in deep technical discussions with global customers, demonstrating an understanding of their problems.

Essential Experience and Skills:

• Full-Stack Development: Minimum of 5 years experience.
• Algorithm Design & Performance Tuning: Proficiency in software algorithm design, performance tuning, debugging, development fundamentals, and testing.
• Product Development & Business Logic: Quick learner in software product development and business logic.
• Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving and reporting skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions.
• Global Team Experience: Experience working in global teams and excellent communication skills.

Technical Skills:

• Object-Oriented Design: Proficient in object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Microservice Architecture: Experience with microservice architecture.
• Technologies: Expertise in Node, Python, Express, Java, and React for user interfaces.
• Databases: Experience with distributed databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Web Standards: Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, JSON, and XML.
• SaaS Products: Experience with SaaS products, addressing performance, security, multi-threading, transaction management, session management, and caching.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git-based code versioning tools (GitHub or BitBucket).
• Continuous Integration: Familiarity with continuous integration practices.
