Urgent hiring for Credit Control - Asst. / Deputy Manager

Location : Chennai

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the entire customer credit in region including settlements/reconciliation and ensure that the company receives its dues in a timely manner coordinate with other business verticals apart from the finance team to ensure that the company has positive working capital and favorable current ratio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assessing the current customer credit situation and taking corrective measure in grading the customers as appropriately on periodic basis
• Ensure that the credit policy is strictly adhered too by all the stakeholders of the company
• Assist in setting up a customer credit application and fixing credit limits (no of days and credit amount )
• Ensure that debts are paid on timely manner
• Handling Follow-ups on all overdue invoices through different modes of communication within agreed timescales
• Regularly making contact with customers to ensure that all relevant debts are managed as necessary
• Identify changes in payment patterns and propose corrective measures
• Ensure that all transactions are compliant with companys policies
• Handle disputed invoices and negotiate to bring credit terms within agreed terms
• Undertake account reconciliations as required
• Overseeing Periodic TDS receivable reconciliations of the company

Responsible for Proposing write offs of irrecoverable receivables and Proposing to the management on moving forward with legal cases for disputed receivables at the appropriate time and coordinating all legal procedures with respective counsel.
