Manufacturing Process Manager

Role & responsibilities

Objective of the role

• To bring the culture of Continuous Improvements in the process.
• Lead the discussions with group team on the various continuous improvements initiatives and implement across all the factories in India.
• Act as Operations lead for the green field and brown field projects
• Responsible to audit the factories on the manufacturing practices.
• Prepare the factory wise, cell wise Supply-Demand graphs and propose the CAPEX projects
• Responsible for Strategic projects initiations till stage gate-2 process (SoN & Option Study)
• Lead the manufacturing improvement programme across all the factories
• Learning and Development Ensure the ERP trainings to the new joiners, Active trainer in the Operation Academy
• Lead the A3 tool implementation across all the factories
• Monitor the 5 KPI report and prepare monthly operations report
• Lead the Digital Manufacturing Transformations Industry 4.0 across the region.

Key Areas of Responsibility

ESSENTIAL

Identify and Implement Continuous Improvement projects across all Factory Locations.

Lead MIP initiatives and provide support to the initiatives cross all plants

Establish Manufacturing Capacity and Volume calculations and Bring up Plan for meeting up Sales Projections- (Supply Demand) as input to Definition stage of Capex Projects.

Maintain and publish 5KPI reports, Perpetual stock, Inventory statements, Manufacturing Budget, std cost and Co-ordinate for Completion.

Provide project management support for key projects.

To be aware on the ERP system

Advance Excel, Power BI, Macros, Visio

Preferred candidate profile

B.E. Chemical or Mechanical or IEM

Working experience of 8 to 10 years in Chemical Industry

At least 3 years In production

Exposure on the ERP Package

Experience in implementing Lean projects

Project Management Experience
