Head - Data Science (10-20 yrs)

Experience Required :

- 10+ years in senior leadership roles within the Life Science industry managing services in Research, Data, Analytics and AI - with a specific focus on Consumer Health, Pharmacy chains, Healthcare Providers.

- In addition, past experience delivering analytics for CPG clients will be very useful. Pharma experience is not a requirement.

Role Overview :

- We are seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to join our team as Corporate Vice President of Data (qualitative and quantitative), Analytics and AI.

- This critical role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in data science, artificial intelligence, and commercial analytics, coupled with a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives in complex environments.

- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our data strategy (qualitative research and quantitative), enhancing our AI capabilities, and leading healthcare analytics initiatives that support our clients' business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership & Vision :

- Enterprise Data Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive data strategy that integrates advanced analytics and AI to empower decision-making and drive business growth with a particular focus on healthcare and consumer health segment.

- Commercial Analytics: Lead the development and implementation of Consumer health and healthcare analytics solutions, leveraging data to optimize outcomes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.

- AI & Digital Transformation: Spearhead the integration of AI and machine learning across the organization, focusing on innovative analytics solutions that transform operational processes.

- Global Leadership: Guide and inspire a global team of data scientists, engineers, commercial and healthcare analytics specialists, and AI professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Cloud Architecture & Data Governance :

- Cloud Transformation: Direct the migration of extensive data ecosystems to cloud environments (Azure, AWS), ensuring the scalability, security, and compliance necessary for handling sensitive healthcare data.

- Data Governance Excellence: Implement and oversee robust data governance practices, with a focus on maintaining the integrity, privacy, and security of healthcare data, in compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA.

Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management :

- Client Partnerships: Collaborate with consumer health and healthcare clients to co-create data-driven solutions that address industry-specific challenges, including regulatory compliance.

- Strategic Partnerships: Work closely with senior stakeholders to align data, AI, and healthcare analytics initiatives with broader business and healthcare partners, ensuring a unified approach to business process transformation.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader within the organization, driving discussions on the future of AI, data analytics, and consumer health sector, and positioning the company as an industry innovator.

Technical Proficiency :

- Cloud Computing: Advanced expertise in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and associated data platforms, with a focus on leveraging cloud technologies for large-scale data processing and analytics in consumer health and healthcare segments.

- Advanced Analytics & AI: Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and data science methodologies, with extensive experience in implementing these technologies in consumer health and healthcare contexts.

- Data Governance: Extensive experience with data governance frameworks and tools, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance, especially in regulated industries like healthcare.

Educational Background :

- A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Healthcare, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or MBA from a prestigious institution is highly preferred.
