Position Overview:

The CEO will lead and oversee the strategic direction, operational excellence, and financial performance of the group of companies operating in the refractory and chemical industries. This executive role demands a visionary leader with a proven ability to manage diversified business operations, drive growth, foster innovation, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute the long-term vision, mission, and strategy for the group.

Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to expand business horizons.

2. Operational Excellence:

Ensure efficient operations across all business units, aligning with the groups goals and KPIs.

Promote and implement best practices in manufacturing, supply chain, and quality management.

Lead initiatives for innovation and technology integration in refractory and chemical production processes.

3. Financial Management:

Drive financial performance by optimizing revenue streams, controlling costs, and ensuring robust cash flow.

Prepare and present financial reports to the board and stakeholders, providing actionable insights.

Lead fundraising efforts, manage investments, and oversee risk management policies.

4. Leadership and Team Management:

Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing leadership team.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within the organization.

Lead succession planning and talent development initiatives across all levels.

5. Market and Customer Focus:

Develop strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to maintain market relevance.

Drive marketing and sales strategies to strengthen brand presence globally.

6. Governance and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and environmental standards in refractory and chemical sectors.

Establish and maintain strong corporate governance practices.

Represent the company at industry forums and maintain a positive public image.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A background in metallurgy, chemical engineering, or materials science is preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 20 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, refractory, or chemical industries, with at least 5 years in a CEO role.

Skills:

Strategic thinking with a strong business acumen.

Expertise in operational management, financial oversight, and market strategy.

Proven track record in driving innovation and leading transformational changes.

Work Location: Bhubaneswar (Corporate Headquarters) with regular travel to manufacturing sites and key markets globally.
