Flynaut - Network Specialist - Firewall (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Flynaut is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Network Specialist to manage and optimize our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable and secure network operations by configuring and maintaining routers, switches, and access points.

Adherence to CMMS standards for asset management and documentation is an integral part of this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- Network Configuration : Configure and manage network devices, including routers, switches, and access points, to ensure optimal performance.

- Network Monitoring : Continuously monitor network health and proactively troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues.

- Collaboration : Work closely with IT teams to ensure secure and stable network operations, integrating seamlessly with other systems.

- Asset Management : Maintain CMMS-compliant records for network assets, configurations, and changes.

- Security Management : Implement and manage network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, updates, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications and Requirements :

- Minimum 3 years of experience in network administration or related roles.

- Hands-on expertise in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, access points, and other networking hardware.

- Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN.

- Familiarity with CMMS compliance standards and network asset management practices.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address network issues efficiently.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional IT teams.

- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in managing enterprise-level networks, including cloud-based and hybrid environments.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.

- Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools and software.
