Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Store Keeper to join our team at a leading hydraulic power pack manufacturing company in Coimbatore. The Store Keeper will be responsible for inventory management, material handling, and maintaining accurate records of all inward and outward materials. This role is essential to ensure smooth operations, effective material planning, and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of experience in inventory management and storekeeping, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all materials, tools, and components in stock. Regularly monitor stock levels and report on low stock or discrepancies.
• Inward/Outward Management: Oversee the receipt and dispatch of materials, ensuring timely and accurate entries into the system.
• Material Handling: Safely and efficiently handle, store, and organize materials, ensuring that all items are easily accessible and properly stored.
• Material Planning: Coordinate with the production team to forecast material requirements and ensure timely availability of materials for production needs.
• Record Maintenance: Maintain proper records of all materials transactions, including purchase orders, stock levels, and movement of materials in and out of the store.
• Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of stock levels and identify any discrepancies.
• Coordination with Vendors: Assist in liaising with suppliers for procurement and ensure materials are received as per the required specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity, ensuring that they meet the required standards before acceptance.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while handling and storing materials to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Basic Graduation (any stream).
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a storekeeping or inventory management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory management software and basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word).
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies and material shortages efficiently.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of handling physical tasks such as material lifting and organization.

Additional Information:

• Work Hours: Full-time (Monday to Saturday).
• Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
