Planning Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a full time Planning Engineer who can assist Project Manager, aid in reviewing design documents, and coordinate technical activities for infrastructure projects.

Location: Bangalore HO (Hebbal)

Role and Responsibilities

• Reports to the AGM Technical and is responsible for technical coordination.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Site Engineers to get approvals of designs and drawings and DPR (Daily Progress Reports)
• Act as a Quantity Surveyor (QS), planning of new projects and tendering coordination
• Lead troubleshooting activities for quantity variations / EIRL
• Coordinate with design consultants and architects
• Expected to work on tight deadlines and co-ordinate with all the various team members involved with the projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• M. Tech (B.E. from good college) with 2-4 Year Experience in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in MS Office expected
• Advance knowledge of structural design, design review process and construction processes
• Advanced knowledge of budget and project management, billing and estimations

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Engineering CAAD tools
• Experience in water supply and sanitation projects is highly preferred
• Experience as Quantity Surveyor (QS)
• Diligent with great attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal; skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team management and leadership skills
