Flipkart - Supply Manager - Central Planning & Supply Chain Design (5-7 yrs)

Role & responsibility :

This team is extremely critical in enabling growth, reliability & sustainability of one of fastest growing & heterogeneous business units in Flipkart (BGM & Home). The role is a leadership role with team size of 3-5 people and would manage a significant portion of BGMH central planning & supply chain design charter. Team scope of work below:

- Manage/improve key inventory/supply chain metrics

- Long & Short team resource planning ( Space, inbound, etc)

- Represent BGMH in all supply related forums & regular liasioning with supply stakeholders

- Drive CM goodness by improving supply chain efficiency

- Design & execute alternate fulfilment models for businesses

- Continual improvement through supply chain design

- Event planning & execution

- Drive Speed as a charter

- Product and automation initiatives across BGMH

- Maintain service level metric for our customers namely speed & serviceability. Drive long term improvement projects in the same space

Skills Required:

- Strong stakeholder management - Success of the role would hinge how efficiently one can collaborate with stakeholders

- Analytical skill & problem solving - Identify & troubleshoot proactively & reactively to ensure business continuity

- Storytelling & building consensus with multiple stakeholders - To get buy-in from people who matter to drive decisions that right for Flipkart & BGMH

- Design Thinking- To keep evaluating better ways of operating within constraints and be better than competition

- Fundamentals of program management, inventory planning & design - Mandatory for driving long term strategic changes

- Coaching & scaling team- Build & train a highly motivated, skilled and strong team for better delivery

- Familiar with Flipkart systems, culture & processes - Understanding would help navigate better
