Senior Quality Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to head our quality inspection team. This position requires a professional with a solid background in the hydraulics/pneumatics sector, and experience in engineering products, particularly hydraulic hose assemblies or related products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors across various inspection stages: Incoming, Raw Material, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
• Plan and manage inspection instruments, gauges, and test equipment to ensure product quality and accuracy throughout production.
• Ensure that all processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee the implementation of quality control processes to ensure adherence to specifications, minimize defects, and enhance overall product quality.
• Develop and execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) when quality issues arise, ensuring swift resolution.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve product quality, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure that all quality documentation and inspection records are maintained accurately and in compliance with internal guidelines.
• Continuously review and improve inspection protocols and processes for better productivity and quality assurance.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of quality standards in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, or related Engineering products.
• Hands-on experience in hydraulic hose assembly or similar products is highly preferred.
• Proficient in using inspection instruments, gauges, and test equipment.
• Good understanding of ISO standards and other quality assurance techniques.
• Ability to lead and manage a team of inspectors effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues proactively.
• Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally and report findings to senior management.
