Automation Test Engineer - Performance Testing (5-8 yrs)

Flatworld Solutions, currently is looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute automated test scripts for Bluetooth functionalities in mobile apps.

- Create and enhance automated test cases for Bluetooth-specific features across both iOS and Android platforms.

- Build and maintain mobile automation test frameworks using Appium, UIAutomator, Espresso, and XCUITest.

- Automate tests for Bluetooth interactions and ensure consistent performance on both Android and iOS devices.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers, log defects, provide status reports, and identify opportunities to enhance the automation framework.

Experience :

- 5+ years in mobile automation testing, focused on Bluetooth technologies.

- Expertise in developing automation frameworks using Appium, UIAutomator, Espresso, or XCUITest.

- Proven experience in Bluetooth testing including BLE, device pairing, and Bluetooth profiles (A2DP, HFP).

- Familiarity with Bluetooth testing tools like Wireshark and TestFlight.

Technical Skills :

- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or Kotlin.

- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, APIs, and protocols relevant to Bluetooth.

- Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Tools & Technologies :

- Automation Tools: Appium, UIAutomator, Espresso, XCUITest, Selenium.

- Bluetooth Testing Tools: Wireshark, TestFlight, Bluetooth sniffers, BlueTest.

- Test Management Tools: Jira, TestRail, Zephyr.

- Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication skills and detail-oriented.

- Ability to work independently or in a team, showing initiative and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Bluetooth Mesh or advanced Bluetooth connectivity features.

- Familiarity with performance testing of Bluetooth features.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of mobile security testing related to Bluetooth data transmission.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
