Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Team Leader to oversee and manage a dynamic sales team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and will be responsible for driving the overall success of the team, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded.
You will work closely with other departments to ensure alignment with business goals, strategize on sales initiatives, and develop your team to maximize their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead & Motivate: Inspire, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives, ensuring they are motivated to meet individual and team targets.
- Training & Onboarding: Conduct regular training sessions and onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring that the team is up-to-date on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Performance Management: Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews to help team members achieve their personal and professional goals.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Sales Targets: Define sales targets and strategies aligned with the company's goals and ensure that the team is consistently meeting or exceeding these targets.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and report on team progress.
- Analyze sales data and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Sales Tactics & Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop sales tactics, strategies, and campaigns that drive customer engagement and conversions.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Customer Acquisition & Retention: Guide the sales team in acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones.
- Ensure the team is providing excellent customer service and building lasting relationships.
- Client Engagement: Establish strong relationships with key customers, including regular communication and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Problem Resolution: Support the sales team in resolving customer issues or complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with other teams (e., marketing, product, customer service) to ensure the sales team has the tools and resources needed to succeed.
- Align Sales Strategies: Work closely with senior leadership to align sales strategies with overall business goals and market conditions.
- Share Market Insights: Provide feedback to other departments regarding customer preferences, market trends, and product feedback from the sales floor.
Sales Process & CRM Utilization:
- CRM Management: Oversee the use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system by the team to track leads, opportunities, and customer data, ensuring it is updated and utilized effectively.
- Optimize Sales Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes, improve sales cycle efficiency, and enhance customer interaction touchpoints
