Golang Developer - Backend Architecture (5-6 yrs)

Job Overview :

- We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join our dynamic engineering team.

- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing high-performance, scalable applications using Go (Golang).

- As a Golang Developer, you will work on developing backend services, ensuring high availability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using Golang to support the growing needs of the business.

- Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices that interact with internal and external systems.

- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to implement new features and resolve technical issues.

- Write and optimize SQL queries for performance, ensuring efficient access to data stored in relational databases.

- Ensure applications are designed with scalability, security, and maintainability in mind.

- Work in a Linux environment, managing system-level programming tasks, deployments, and performance optimizations.

- Leverage version control systems such as Git for source code management and collaborate effectively in a team-driven environment.

- Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code while following best practices in development.

- Participate in code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, monitor application performance, and implement improvements.

- Contribute to DevOps processes including deployment pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and automated testing.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong background in Golang (Go programming language).

- Proficient in writing SQL queries against relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.

- Solid experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services with best practices.

- Comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment, including command-line tools and shell scripting.

- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).

- Strong problem-solving abilities, a passion for coding, and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
