About this team:

Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Generates statistical reports and analyses for management. Monitors team activity for quality control. Provides recommendations for enhancements to department processes and procedures. Maintain current operational procedures. Actively participates in all phases of product implementation to ensure a smooth transition into production for the users, clients and support personnel.

What you will be doing:

• Provides technical support activities for a software production processing environment.

• Installs, maintains and supports application/source code and/or its components and subsystems including third party software.

• Detects, diagnoses and reports related problems.

• Analyzes and resolves incidents, problems or known errors related to failures in application and supporting software components.

• Provides technical assistance to programming staff in the analysis of application software amends, performance and resource consumption.

• Assists development teams in requirements definition, system design and delivery of projects.

• Verifies technical specifications for development projects.

What you bring:

• Minimum of 4 to 7 years of proven experience in supporting Linux based applications.

• Good working Knowledge of supporting Linux based application environments.

• Basic knowledge of Linux platform

• Experience of any RDBMS database

• Experience of application support domain

• Experience supporting critical Production environment.

• Good skill supporting Windows based application and experience in supporting application in Production environment.

• Experience in Shell script automation.

• Must be ready to work in 24*7 environment.

• Good Knowledge of SRE functionality and adaptability.
