Direct Tax Manager

Role

• To oversee the direct tax compliance, ensure adherence to statutory requirements, lead audits, handle assessment and mentor team for timely and accurate tax operations
• Ensure timely & accurate filing of TDS returns, income tax returns and tax audit reports
• Provide strategic guidance on international transfer pricing and related documentation
• Respond to auditors queries
• Represent the organization during tax assessments, appeals and liaise with tax consultants
• Provide advisory services to internal teams on TDS applicability and planninge & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

• To support the direct tax lead in ensuring timely compliance with tax laws, preparing reports, responding to queries and managing operation aspect of tax related tasks
• Preparation and filing of TDS returns and income tax returns
• Conduct TDS reconciliation
• Respond to auditors queries and assist in preparation of assessments and appeals
• Prepare and apply for 15 CA/CB certificates
• Liaise with tax authorities and consultants for refunds, rectifications and appeals
• Maintain upto date documentation on international transfer pricing
